Your modem is delivered with an Instruction manual. Generally the manual is adequate to explain all the hardware , software and configuration needs. Once you are familiar with the Cyberspace , do visit the homepage of your Modem manufacturer. A list of the homepages is mentioned later as we cruise through this session.

The way we refer a PC as IBM Compatible , same way most modems are Hayes Compatible.
