Welcome
to the latest brain child of your friends at Gone Gold! Just what
the heck is a Gone "Gold Light" Special? It's basically
just a small contest, but I figured since we're all gamers, we would
through in some fun as well.
From
now on, you'll see a light on the right side-bar of the site. Most
of the time, it will be off. However, (And who knows when it can
happen?) at unannounced times, the command center will turn the
light on, meaning there is a Contest Going on at that very moment.
That's
when it's time to click on the link to be taken to this page and
read the instructions ASAP. "Gold Light" Specials will
only last for an hour or so and since they're held randomly, you'll
never know when we may just throw out some great games.
When
the light is flashing, a post on the main page will direct you to
this page. From here, you'll find out what's up for grabs, how long
the contest will run and what you have to do (Most likely you'll
have to simply send in an e-mail.).
Once
the contest is over, the light will go off, a notice will be posted
to the main page and no e-mails will be accepted. Within the hour
after the contest ends, a winner will be selected randomly from
among the entries sent in on time, and announced on the main page.
Once
again, here's the basic principle:
If
you're a Publishing Company and would like to supply a game or two for
the Gold Light Specials, please
let me know. I will gladly post your company logo on this page
indefinitely, for any company that contributes. Of course, you'll also
have the undying loyalty of the Gone Gold community.
