Fujitsu is one of the pioneers in the development of Digital IC's using GaAs material for high speed compounds within the telecommunications and data communication markets. In 1987, Fujitsu introduced a GaAs Digital IC for a 2.5 Gb/s telecommunication system.
Fujitsu offers a standard line of Digital IC's for SONET, Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet, and other gigabit applications. In addition, Fujitsu designs and manufactures Gate Array ASIC's and Customer Specific Integrated Circuits (CSIC's) using state-of-the-art GaAs technologies.
