Valves - New TB Series 2

Series 2 for the Year 2000!"
Chemline TB Series Butterfly Valves have proven to be reliable high
quality valves for demanding process control applications. TB Series
2 is an updated version of the same valve. Almost all external metal
parts have been eliminated i.e. trigger, pin, position locking plate
and acorn nut. The completely redesigned hand lever is easier to hold
and operate, and is now lockable. There are position stops every 5 degrees
- 19 positions in all including fully open and closed. Very fine flow
adjustment is possible. The trigger locking lever has multiple teeth
which engage the new design plastic (PPG) position lock plate mounted
on top of the valve. This innovative design position lock holds against
high torque loads.
The "top flange" of the valve and shaft has been redesigned to conform
to ISO 5211 for standardized actuator mounting. This modular design
allows hand lever, gear operator, and actuator to be easily interchanged.
Actuator mounting is now easier.
Hand lever models are available 1-1/2" to 8". Gear operated valves are
available from 1-1/2" to 16".
