Crew Calling Cards

Maritime Telecommunications Network’s (MTN) OceanPhone Crew Calling Card Program is an easy to operate, cost efficient system for crew calling.  This new product provides the Cruise Line   an opportunity for new onboard revenues and will maximize satellite utilization per ship.

Cruise Lines can offer their onboard employees affordable calling rates from ship to shore and, in addition, Crew Members may use this card from shore using any touch tone telephone in the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Canada.

Shore to Ship (Inbound) Calling

MTN’s Shore to Ship Telephone Service offers Cruise Line passengers a way to be contacted on Cruise Line Ships for business and emergencies.

Many people may feel reluctant to cruise because they are so "out of touch" – no longer. By calling an 800 number, family members or business associates can contact the passenger at any time, just like a hotel. Should the passenger be unavailable, a message would be taken and delivered to the passengers’ cabin.

Video Conferencing

Video conferencing is a cost efficient, time saving way to schedule meetings with ship board staff and Cruise Line Headquarters. Video conferencing would reduce travel costs and would allow more people to attend.

Video conferencing capability is also an excellent tool for the Cruise Line to attract the Incentive and large group market.

Internet Access

MTN provides its Cruise Line customer access to the Internet. In addition to e-mail for officers and crew, Internet access will soon be available to passengers. Through MTN’s C-Band technology, passengers will be able to access the Internet, send and receive e-mail, and play video games.

Video Broadcast

When it comes to "LIVE" remote broadcast, no one does it better than MTN. We have been providing live, remote broadcast from around the world since 1986. MTN uses C-Band technology…The same technology we use to provide telecommunications services to our customers. (Ku-Band technology is also available)
