then... Lucy® will save you money. At some point in time, you will wish one (or all) of your paper drawings was available in CAD. It may be because you need to make a modification to the drawing, or it may be because you need to create a new drawing that is similar to the existing drawing. Whatever the reason, you will have to make a choice: "Should I continue to use paper or should I redraw from scratch in CAD?" If you continue to use paper, you bypass all of the benefits that drove you to CAD in the first place. If you redraw in CAD, the labor cost becomes a factor. Now you have another choice. With Lucy, you can convert a scanned electronic copy of the drawing into a CAD file at minimal cost. Lucy's automated conversion recognizes graphics entities (lines, circles, etc.) and text on your drawing. You can then use Lucy's review and clean-up tools to ensure that the result is "CAD perfect". And we offer two pricing plans. Lucy has both a Per Seat and a Per Drawing pricing plan. The Per Seat Plan is typically most cost-effective for dedicated usage of Lucy on one or a limited number of computers. The Per Drawing Plan is more cost-effective for low volume usage or when installing Lucy on a large number of seats. You choose the plan that best suits your needs. |
