"Now that I have information
about my disease, I am not so filled with fear and despair." --Chantal, Illinois
- Information is truly one
of the most potent weapons a woman can carry. That's why the Association is pleased and
proud to offer members the materials in this catalog--books, tapes, newsletters, and other
resources, all based on the experiences of women with the disease and our research.
Nowhere else can you find the accurate, highly informative literature about endometriosis
that we offer here. But where do you begin?
Hints for choosing the materials that will be most
valuable to you:
 | Too much to choose from? Start with
our books, The Endometriosis Sourcebook and Overcoming Endometriosis. After you've
absorbed those, turn to our collections, special articles, and newsletters.
|
 | Looking for a good doctor?
Order a contact/registry list
from the order form and call other members in your area for background on local
physicians. You can also contact the nearest Association chapter or support group
for information on physicians and on group meetings.
|
 | Need to inform your family or
others about endo so they're more understanding and supportive? Our
videotape "You're Not Alone...Understanding
Endometriosis" has been used with great results.
|
Wish you could hear the leading
experts discuss the most up-to-date treatments of the disease? Order our taped cassettes of speeches given by leading
doctors and others at the Association's 15th Anniversary Conference in November 1995.
Listen while driving, getting dressed, cooking, or at any other time your hands are busy
but your mind could be taking in important information on endometriosis.
Don't Forget! Become a Member and Stay
a Member!
The Endometriosis Association's work is made
possible by members, primarily women with endometriosis, who support the Association
through dues and volunteer efforts. Without them, we would be unable to maintain the
staff and organization to generate our programs and materials and keep prices low.
Therefore we think it is only fair to ask that you join when you take advantage of our
materials by ordering from this catalog. You can become a member by sending a check and
filling out the membership
form, or add your membership to your order by filling out the appropriate section of
the order form. We
look forward to having you join us!
