Not Able To Afford Membership?

It is very important for women with endometriosis to educate themselves and to talk with other women about the disease.  However, due to the debilitating nature of endometriosis, we are very aware that some women simply cannot afford the membership fee, either because they are unable to work because of endometriosis, or because they are left with mounting medical bills.

The Association has a small revolving gift membership program for women who are financially unable to join our Association.  We give you a gift membership for 1 or 2 years, with a verbal agreement that you repay the fund in a specified time.   At the end of the agreed-upon-time, we ask that the gift membership be repaid so that we can extend it to another woman.

Before you apply for a gift membership please consider that sometimes our friends and family want to help us with our struggles with endometriosis, but are at a loss to do so.  Maybe they would like to provide you with a membership to the Association, or buy literature about endometriosis for you?  Never be afraid to ask for help.  If your closest friends or family were in a similar situation, wouldn't you help them?

For more information about a gift membership, please write to: support@endometriosisassn.org or call our Support Program Coordinator at (414) 355-2200.
