Endometriosis Association--Benefits of Membership

Newsletter -- published 4-6 times a year

The latest medical and research news, timely features on major topics of concern and interest, excerpts from research studies, book reviews, and Association news. Members tell us that the newsletters provide the hope and help they need -- and the best information anywhere on how to cope with endometriosis. Because of the extremely personal nature of the disease and the sharing related to it in our newsletters and groups, we do not distribute the newsletter, contact names, etc., to non-members.

EA Member Chat Room

The EA Member Chat Room was designed for members to "chat" with other members about endometriosis.  Go to EA Chat Room to see the schedule of events as well as to register to participate in the next chat.

Chapters and Support Groups, Correspondence Networks, Local Contacts

Where chapters and affiliated groups exist, membership provides the opportunity to be part of local activities. You may network with other women near you with endometriosis to help you find support and understanding, a good doctor, and tips for coping with this disease.

Family/Teen Program

The Association now offers special family memberships to support teens with endo. Membership will ensure that you and your family receive information available on endometriosis. Go to Family/Teen Program to read more about this special program.

Crisis Call Help

Members may call trained crisis call counselors listed in the newsletters. Our volunteers can help with decisions related to endometriosis, suggest other resources for a particular problem, or just listen in times of pain or anxiety.

Accurate, Useful Literature, Videotapes, and Audiotapes

Our material has been highly praised for the succinct, factual, and direct way it answers the questions most of us have in the course of coping with endometriosis. You can't find better lay materials on endometriosis anywhere. See catalog for more information..

Prescription Drug Discount Program

Provides savings to members by offering discounts on prescriptions filled at any of the participating national pharmacy chains (100's of chains!) as well as a large number of independent pharmacies. On average, discounts will be 15-40% below retail walk-in prices. Simply fill out a short application -- no fees! -- to receive your free prescription drug discount card.

Plus Additional Benefits

Discounts on literature.
Free literature from time to time.
Volunteer opportunities to allow you to get involved and make a difference for all affected by endometriosis.

Above all, membership gives you the information, support, and self-confidence to do the best job you can in helping yourself with this disease. We regret we do not have the financial capability to provide literature and services to non-members, with the exception of this free initial information. The peace of mind alone is worth the membership dues.

The Endometriosis Association is supported by membership dues, literature sales, and tax-deductible contributions. Donations are always welcome.
