Grants & Scholarships

The majority of students who receive grants are funded by ESF Grants. Others are funded by Vocational Education Committees or County Councils. All maintenance grants are means tested.

European Social Fund

Students commencing an ESF Aided course in September 2000 may not pay a Tuition Fee. ESF Maintenance grants will be paid by the Institute following approval by the VEC. The ESF grant means test is applied on the same basis as those under all other student grant schemes, including the VEC scholarship and the Higher Education Grant Scheme.
