Affordable and easy to install, the NT-1 Plus provides access to ISDN's expanded bandwidth. In addition, it offers a variety of ISDN voice telephone services --- services that typically cost the consumer extra dollars every month --- using standard analog telephone equipment. The NT-1 Plus takes advantage of high bandwidth and speed --- providing faster response times and file transfer rates, up to 128 Kbps via two ISDN B channels. Basic Rate Interface (BRI) services are available from your local telephone company. Both B channels can be used -- for the cost of one ISDN service connection -- and the NT-1 Plus gives you the choice of how to use them. The NT-1 Plus enables one BRI B channel to connect to a terminal adapter (for 64 Kbps bandwidth) and converts the other channel to a standard analog interface for connecting to all existing analog telephones and fax machines. It can also operate as a standard NT1, passing both B channels and the D channel to your terminal equipment for full 128 Kbps digital bandwidth. A 120VAC power adapter is included, and backup batteries can be added to enable use during a power outage. Product Specifications
