About Arbor Hill Tree Farm

Arbor Hill Tree Farm is a small family farm owned and operated by Jerry and Lisa Knutson. Our goal is to provide a quality tree at a competitive price, to local residents, businesses, landscape contractors, as well as wholesale customers.

Photo 1: Jerry pruning trees -- Jerry believes it is important to keep the natural form of each tree. Some shaping is required, but he doesn't sheer them like Christmas trees. The Knutsons do go through after the trees bud out to remove extra "tops" so that they will have just one dominant top.

Photo 2: Helping customers -- Many times, people need information about planting and caring for trees, or seek advice about making a landscape plan. The Knutsons describe how tall they will get, how much space they'll need and how to prune them to have healthy trees.

Photo 3: Digging trees -- Using a skidsteer mounted tree spade, the Knutsons ball and burlap trees. The spade lets them dig the trees out of the ground, and put them into a form customers can take home to plant.
