Personal Web Page Assignment

You are to create a web site with a definite audienceand purposein mind. The site can be
about just about anything clean and pure enough to earn the Mr. Norwood seal of decency: a
hobby or interest that you have, for instance; it can be informative or persuasive; it can be
humorous or serious.

Your proposed site will be checked for appropriateness on Friday, January 14, 1999—at which
time you will be given space to upload it onto a school district web server.

Use the following handy dandy checklist and recipe card as your guide . . .

• three or more text hyperlinks to other internet sites
• three or more different linked (to each other) html pages on your site, at least one of
which has a custom background color or image
• one or more horizontal rules
• one or more .gif images with transparency
• one or more animated .gifs
• a mailto hyperlink to your e-mail address (i.e., set up a web-based free MailPilot
account).
