Artwork

Artwork will be accepted in any of the following formats:

  • Artwork must be on a 3 1/2" disk, Zip diskette, or recordable CD in formats readable in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. ** EPS, TIFF, and PDF formats preferred. P.O. number must be indicated on disk.
  • Artwork may also be submitted via e-mail. Please indicate the P.O. number with the transmission to prevent delays with processing.

  • Ariel uses Windows based PC Systems. We can read Macintosh disks, however Macintosh fonts will not be recognized. All fonts must be converted to vector paths to prevent font substitution.
  • Artwork must be black and white camera ready at 600dpi or higher. Faxed artwork is unacceptable.
  • Artwork that is not camera ready will be charged $40(v) per hour, minimum 1-hour charge.
  • Typesetting: Straight line copy will be charged $10(v). Difficult or curved copy will be charged $20(v). If a specific font style is not indicated on the Purchase Order, Lnline will use their own discretion.

Multi-Color Imprints

Two, three and four-color imprints are available on most items. Artwork must be suplied color separated in black and white with crop marks in four corners. Artwork on disk must be sent as specified in the Artwork section of this page. Minimums vary with multi-color imprints. Quantities below are based upon using the exact same logo at the exact same size.

  • One-Color = 100 piece minimum
  • Two-Color = 500 piece minimum
  • Three-Color = 1,000 piece minimum
  • Four-Spot-Colors = 1,000 piece minimum
  • Less than minimum orders will be accepted with additional charges
  • See the Less than Minimum section for quantities and charges.

Catalog Requests

Catalogs are sent at no charge for quantities less than ten if shipped by ground transportation. If quantity exceeds 10 or shipped by expedited service, freight will be invoiced. Please provide a shipping account number.

Claims

All claims must be voiced within 30 days after shipment. If notice is not given within this time period LINLINE will not be held liable for compensation on any claim. All returned merchandise must have a return authorization number. We are not responsible for inability to fill orders due to strikes, shortages of materials or any other reasonable cause.

Credit Terms and Payment

  • For active accounts in good standing, payments will be net 30.
  • First time customers as well as inactive accounts for over 1 year will have credit terms of 50% to 100% prepaid.
  • Orders originating outside the United States and Canada must prepay entire order-100% prior to production.
  • Non-ASI members must prepay 100% initially until credit terms can be arranged.
  • We accept VISA and MasterCard

Returned Check Policy

$25.00 service charge for all returned checks. Terms may be changed to prepayment for future orders.

Custom Item Color

Absolute minimum for a custom color is 1000 pieces. There is a $100 (v) handling fee plus any applicable spraying mold charges. If desired product color is different from our normal product colors, an additional PMS charge of $50(v) will apply. Please allow at least 8 weeks for normal delivery or 4 weeks delivery with additional charges.

Custom Shapes

Absolute minimum is 5000 pcs. The item price is determined by size, the number of colors on the item, the number of logo colors/locations, and the level of difficulty of the shape. There is a processing fee of $450 net - this covers the cost of a pre-production proof, assistance with design details, and air-freighting artwork and samples.

  • Please note that the shape cannot be thinner than 3/4" in any part, otherwise this area may tear very easily.
  • Exclusivity along with items that are licensed or copyright protected must be indicated on your request for quote.
  • Depending upon the complexity of the item, the general lead-time is 10-16 weeks. Your client should receive the preproduciton proof in 3-6 weeks.
