Madera County School-to-Career

School-to-Career is a teaching philosophy which begins in elementary school and continues for a life time. School-to-Career gives students broader exposure to careers and college, while reinforcing the importance of academics regardless of career choice. It is an opportunity to help prepare students for a successful transition from school to college or school to the work place by making education more relevant.
Partnerships between business and education are essential in order to make School-to-Career work.
Opportunities abound for employers, parents, and individuals to offer their time and expertise. Business Partners can help by providing activities to student and educators. A small investment of time now will produce sizable results in the future.
