The GTANet: site is physically hosted, and maintained by the Region of Halton, Oakville, Ontario.

Intended Audience

The purpose of this site is to provide a forum for the GTA Network Committee to communicate and share information in an efficient and timely manner.

The Communications Team undertook preliminary work to determine "who" needs to know about GTA Net. Three target audiences were identified: Stakeholders, Prospective Consumers and Prospective Partners.

Stakeholders refers to those who are represented by the GTA Net in some way and/or have contributed resources to its successful development.

Prospective Consumers refers to those individuals or organizations that would benefit from accessing GTA Net products, services and programs.

Prospective Partners refers to those organizations that may be open to collaborative development efforts in areas of common interest. It would also include organizations interested offering complementary services or products. Developing these kinds of partnerships provides an important avenue for focusing efforts and avoiding duplication.

To gain access to the site, requires a user name and password that is provided by the GTANet: Site Administer.
