CLASS FULL! ENROLLMENT CLOSED 9/20/1999 @ 10:30 am EST: Airspace® Management Obstacle Evaluation Training Seminar
IMAGINARY HIGHWAYS - The National Airspace System (NAS) includes 350,000 miles of controlled airways that the Federal Aviation Administration has divided into over 900 numbered routes. The airways are multi-layered and three-dimensional, stacked one on top of the other to altitudes up to 45,000 feet. Invisible imaginary highways (surfaces) lead to and from airports that are also surrounded by imaginary obstacle free surfaces. Construction of a building, tower, or any other type of structure near these imaginary surfaces or an air navigation facility may seriously affect or prevent the start of your construction project. Airspace® software helps you determine, well in advance, what problems you may encounter at a particular height and set of geographical coordinates where you plan construction. Airspace® and Terps® Professional software can determine if proposed new construction is in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulation Part 77.
Our mission is to provide the ability for anyone to quickly analyze a proposed site for air rights, construction height limits and determine the likely response from the FAA in seconds not weeks or months and save you, the customer, time and money.
Federal Airways & Airspace is the leading supplier of software for meeting the requirements of FAR Part 77 and notifying the Federal Aviation Administration of proposed construction. We are playing an important role in the cellular and PCS industry by assessing the value of real estate for tower construction and preparation of the necessary forms for filing with the FAA. It has a long history as a successful organization.
