Why can't detect
Hard Disk in PCI 4 slot with AHA29160 ? |

Because PCI 4
slot can't support Bus Master mode on 6AJA4-C board. Same
situation , PCI 5 slot can't do above on 6AJA4 -D board. Please
don't use slot of above to install bus master card. |

Why can't use
embedded flash utility to update BIOS date 5/23/00 ? |

There is normally
of this situation because 6AJA4 BIOS instead of 6AJR4 BIOS since
May. Due to embedded flash utility will be checked part number of
every BIOS. So, absolutely can't update BIOS 5/23/00 ( of 6AJR4 )
on 6AJA4. Please flash new BIOS by flash utility on disk and will
be work fine continue after that. |
