NCTSI ORGANIZATION

NCTSI was established on 1 July 1977 as a second echelon command to the Chief of Naval Operation (CNO) Space , Command and Control Information Warfare Directorate (N6).NCTSI supports the Fleet and Joint Operations by executing four primary responsibilities:

• Direct supports to U.S. navy Fleet units
• Configuration control of Navy interoperability documentation, data forms and message standards
• Certification of Navy C4I Data Link and Message Text Format systems
• Navy Link 16 Network Design facility
