WHAT IS THE F-911®?                                                    F911

F-911 is a new concept in fastening systems. A program of strength and reliability, with full accountability.

F-911 IS TOUGH.
In an industry of deteriorating standards, the F-911 fastener restoresBolts.jpg (7434 bytes) confidence to fastener users by setting a new, higher level of strength. With a minimum 180,000 PSI, F-911 is 20% stronger than the best Grade 8 cap screw. Test results show that F-911 continually  exceeds minimum torque requirements and stands up to severe stress. That's because F-911 fasteners are meticulously engineered and manufactured only from the highest grade domestic alloy steels.

And F-911 can take the heat.
To harden steel, it must undergo heat treating. But heat treating alone doesn't guarantee performance. That's because in the process a fastener can lose much of its pliability or "ductility," actually making it brittle.
Not so with F-911
We utilize only the most modern metallurgical equipment and techniques. The result: A superior grade fastener of incredibly high tensile strength.

As an F-911 customer, every fastener you buy is completely traceable to its original production lot. Samples of each lot are kept on file, with all documentation regarding batch date, quality inspections and test reports.

F-911 IS TESTED
.

A fastener may seem like a small part of your project. But whether it's a combine or a missile silo, a single failure could spell disaster. So how do you know the fasteners you buy will do the job?

You don't.
Unless, of course, you specify F-911 fasteners. Each and every F-911 is tested for strength and integrity. Certified to meet all dimensional and performance characteristics. In many cases, tests have been performed at the customer's request by independent laboratories to determine F-911's performance under a variety of applications.
In every case, F-911 meets or exceeds the requirements.
When you specify F-911, you're getting more than a fastener.
You're getting peace of mind.

F-911 IS TRACEABLE. INCREASE RELIABILITY.
DECREASE LIABILITY.

What if a problem developed with the fasteners you're using now. Would you be able to identify them, let alone be able to trace to their original source?
Probably not.
So how do you increase reliability and decrease liability?

As an F-911 customer, every fastener you buy is completely traceable to its original production lot. And samples of each lot are kept on file, with all documentation regarding batch date, quality control inspections and test reports. So if there's a problem, you get action.

Isn't it nice to know that there are some companies in this world that still stand behind their products?

F-911 SAVES YOU MONEY. IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE.

Surely a fastener with such high standards must have a high price!
Not so.
F-911 is so widely used, that you'll find prices to be competitive with domestic Grade 8. In fact, many smart manufacturers have found that because of F-911's increased strength, they can specify fewer, smaller fasteners to get the job done. This can significantly reduce the package size and the overall weight of the end product, saving the additional shipping costs and assembly time required in Grade 8 or smaller applications.

And extra strength means reduced fastener failure. And an increased margin of safety and reliability. So you save on downtime and costly repairs.

And what about wear?
A fastener that wears poorly must be replaced more often. With F-911's superior strength and extra head height, you'll  save on maintenance costs.

F-911's GREATER HEAD HEIGHT IMPROVES WEAR AND WRENCHABILITY.
Compare.
Match the stout head of the F-911 fastener with any other hex head cap screw. You'll  get solid, positive action when wrenching to the desired torque. This is what we mean by "wrenchability."  And if you have equipment that is subject to wear and abrasion, you'll appreciate that extra margin of metal at the head!

A VAST INVENTORY READY FOR IMMEDIATE DELIVERY

F-911 comes in over 1,000 different types and sizes, both in Hex Head and Dome Head (Scraper) Plow fastener configurations. And they're available at your local industrial distributor or parts house.
What about plating?
F-911 comes standard in your choice of plain black steel (unplated) or zinc gold dichromate. But if you require other plating options, they're always available on special order.
Custom packaging?
No problem either. F-911 can be packaged to order and delivered to meet your most demanding deadline.
By the way, F-911 is manufactured right here in the USA, so there are no import restrictions or overseas delays to worry about. Now there's no excuse for not using F-911!

WHO USES F-911?
