Chapman Product Overview
Pocket-sized "Security to Go!"
Portability, affordability and simplicity-of-use are attributes that Robert Chapman demanded from his team of engineers and corporate partners. They banded together under his leadership and produced a revolutionary line of consumer and commercial
security products.
The hand-held portable devices are cost-effectively produced to military specifications; the affordability is magnified by unique monthly leasing plans; and all major unit functions are operated by a single, easy-to-use, "Mayday" Call button. Another
unique factor of Chapman systems is the sophisticated security monitoring that provides a variety of user services that can protect users in almost any situation. The current line of products include:
Chapman Personal Safeguard Companion (PSC) is a portable, hand-held,
personal satellite security system with GPS tracking and 2-way voice communication provisions. Pressing the red "Mayday" Call button once signals the Chapman Command Center (C3) that you need emergency aid. Pressing the button twice, signals C3 that you
need information such as directions, roadside assistance or concierge services.
The PSC comes with a charger for the two lithium ion batteries that last many times longer than cellular batteries and are rechargeable in any state of charge.
The Chapman Vehicle Locator (CVL) tracks and communicates voice/data simultaneously (or data only) from
a vehicle via the cellular network or the Internet. The cost-effective CVL system can be used in both consumer and commercial applications. Equipped with cellular/GPS components, the CVL sends, the Chapman Command Center (C3) or a company's own central
station, comprehensive vehicle/asset management controls. The CVL also contains an interface control card that can be programmed for a wide variety of security applications. Central station configuration includes user-friendly Chapman proprietary
control/mapping software and interface operator modem.
All systems include customized software and training programs.
