YATRA PANCHKOSHI

FIVE DAY MOBILE WORKSHOP ON ART OF LIVING, INDIA 

 

1.         Yatra Panchoshi (Ypk) or “Five Day Worksop on ‘Art of Living, India’  (Fid Mow Ali)

constitutes learning through experiential adventure, in the lap of nature, the ‘Art of Living’, in India, according to ancient wisdom based on the First Book of Knowledge in the world Rig Veda as practised on the  banks of Narmada flowing through the heart of Rural India in Madhya Pradesh (MP).

2.         The Five Day journey will be 50 KM long from Jhansi Ghat to Gwari Ghat in Jabalpur, (MP). It will be conducted by  seasoned educationists with an army background,  with a view to enable the participants to imbibe traits and qualities of a good human being,  irrespective of  their stations in life.

3.         Intended to be a new beginning, as an answer to the crisis  obtaining in modern life, it may help to heal. It is a step in informal education meant for  persons of all stages of life.  A new paradigm of ‘Living Values’. It may also help people to realise, in some measure atleast, some of the following traits of character, and  thus make a difference to the quality of life :-

(a)        Abstain form obtaining what is within  reach but not due.

(b)        Denying to oneself what is within possibilities as a luxury but not a necessity.

(c)        Moderation in self seeking and self centeredness

(d)        Adopting Buddha’s Madhya Marg in all transactions.

(e)        Exercising restrain on desires,  which are likely to  offend others.

(f)         Cultivate respect for relationships to maintain their sanctity.

(g)        Show concern for others by practising sympathy and  empathy.
