Family Medical Project - has detailed information, flyers and letters on how DSHS will reinstate clients who lost their medical benefits between August 1997 and August 1999.

CHIP Frequently Asked Questions - is neatly set up so you can find the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) topics you are most interested in learning about.

Good News - Outreach Project Continues!

December 1999 - In late November, Congress passed legislation lifting the October 1, 2000 sunset on the Medicaid-TANF Delinking Fund.  This means that states, including Washington, can continue to access the fund until their share of the money is used up.  MAA is extending current Medicaid Outreach contracts to at least December 2000.  Outreach Contractors can continue their outreach efforts to enroll eligible families and children in Medicaid.
