Background

The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), Medical Assistance Administration (MAA) provides equal access to department programs and services.  All limited English Proficient (LEP), deaf, deaf-blind, and hard of hearing DSHS Clients are eligible for interpreter services.

The state has been providing interpreter services for DSHS Clients for over ten years.  MAA is committed to ensuring all MAA Clients have equal access to necessary medical care.
