Our technicians working with the technicians from your phone company have resolved the problems with the 727 number that you were experiencing earlier.  If you are currently dialing 866-6367 to connect to nemr.net, please begin dialing immediately 727-2326.  No other configuration changes are required other than the number your computer modem dials.

Below are some very basic instructions for making this change.  Please change your number the next time you try to connect.

Windows 95/98
Double click on My Computer.
Double click on Dial Up Networking.
Click ONCE on your nemr.net connection.
Click on File, then Properties.  Change the telephone number from 866-6367 to:  727-2326  Then click OK.
Double click on your nemr.net connection.  If the phone number still has 1660 in front of it, click on Dial Properties and at the bottom of this screen there should be a box with a check mark and to the right it should say Dial as a long distance call.  Click on this box so there is no check mark in it.  Click OK.

Windows 3.x
Go to your nemr.net dialer and click on properties.  Under Locations, change your Provider Phone Number to:  727-2326
Click on OK to save the changes.

Macintosh
Go to Control Panels and select the Mac TCP icon.  Select PPP and select More.
Go to Configure PPP.  Under Configure, change the phone number to:  727-2326
