Welcome to the new Tactical Advantage

I took yesterday and today to start redesigning Tactical Advantage for the coming millenium. Please feel free to leave me
comments and suggestions at roblee@tampabay.rr.com. I need input from anyone
so I can adjust this page so it features the things you would want a site to have. The sooner you tell me,
the sooner I can make it happen. None of the links work as of yet, but they do highlight.

Another Rogue Spear Review

Has posted review of Rogue Spear, I know what your thinking... but some people do these things! Anyway its a good honest
review covering the great aspects of the game and includes a "Gripes Dept.". Here is a quote "But the in-depth
multiplayer is the game’s strong point. Adding the human factor provides an incredibly intense, visceral experience.
Unlike typical multiplayer mayhem, in "Rogue Spear" you’ll be required to make cautious choices as well as rely on other
players." "Visceral Experience" it has a nice ring to it. I think Ill go find my bros and get in on that!

DEFCON SIX

GameSpy Network has launched it's newest site, "Planet Rainbow Six".
Up to the high standards of the "Planet" sites its full of good Rogue Spear information and links to just about everything.

New Madspin Site

Madspin sent work that he has taken the opportunity of Rogue Spear coming out to give his site a face lift. Here is what he had to

R6/RS Toolkit

The R6/RS Toolkit has been released. If you do not have this utility then you need to get it now. It was created by Snicker
so send him any questions or comments. The utility allows you to ping, telnet, and join an IP address that you enter in the program or the address book.
You can also change up some of the settings like your weapons and server options. Grab yourself a copy
here.

Sierra Hacks

Sierra, Who brought us Half-Life, is reorganizing after being built from over 20 acquisitions. The fallout is that 105 people
are out of work. Dynamix, responsible for Tribes, Starsiege, Desert Fighters, ProPilot and the 3D Ultra series of games took the

Unreal Tournament Demo

For those unfortunate few out there who have not tried Unreal Tournament then do so now. It is awesome and literally puts Quake3 to
shame. A good addition to the game is that if you are winning there are scoreboards proclaiming it, lol, pretty cool looking.
The levels are also well thought out as are the weapons. So
grab a copy now.

DirectX 7.0

Is Rogue Spear a little choppy even though you have a monster machine and 3d card? Well get DirectX 7.0 and it should fix it. I
have tested this and it does in fact make the game run much smoother. Snag it here.

Action Figure Pulled from Market

For those of us who still like cool action figures you may have heard of The Ultimate Soldier 12" Action Figures.
21st Century Toys manufactures realistic looking action figures, some of the most
detailed I have seen. In a series called the "Americas Finest" they were several figures available. The SWAT figures
( which are great, I have one ) and the villains. The villains have been pulled from the market because too many people
said they looked like the two boys that opened fire at Columbine High School. Although the action figures were made a year ago,
21st Century Toys is pulling them from the market. Read a statement from the company

Wonderful Day

I got up late this morning and woke to the sound of birds chirping and wind blowing ever so gently. As I opened all the windows to allow the breeze to blow through my house
I realized that no matter how beautiful this day was, I was going to spend it inside at my computer. Why would I do that you ask?
The answer is simple, because Rogue Spear came out today! After my shower I got on the computer and confirmed that Electronics Boutique had them in
stock. I then chatted with Snicker and one of the guys from RSE for a few minutes before jumping in my low-performance sports car and
speeding down the road to the mall (speeding is 45mph). I parked so my walk to the store would be as quick as possible. Entering EB I
noticed they had tons of copies of Rogue Spear, I was like a kid in a candy store, or a TAC member in a adult video store, either way you look at it I
was happy. The clerk gave me my copy I had prepaid and I was out the door and back home in record time. I have yet to install it, but I am going to right now,
I thought I had better post this now since I may never be back. I have a big day planned, I am going to see an Egyptian exhibit at the museum, then I may go to Kosovo and
visit the locals. Maybe I will see you there, lets hope so.

Rogue Spear Strategy Guide

Got a message from Pie of Pie's Tactics that he has single player walk throughs
with plans, movies, and map blueprints. I checked and as of 0900 hours pie has missions 1 thru 5. Check it out
here. Pie also said that by the weekend he should have all 18 missions up.
