Santa Fe Public Schools have two comprehensive four year high schools. Students have an opportunity to enroll in college bound or advanced placement courses in the core content area subjects. Regular monitoring of student progress by means of portfolios, homework, oral and written review, quizzing and testing are important features of the academic program.

The strong academic program is complemented by courses in Music, Art, Industrial Arts, Home Economics, Business, Health Assistance, Vocational Agriculture, Vocational Programs and Auto Technology. Guidance counselors are available at each school to assist students and parents in determining the appropriate four year plan for each student's high school career.
