We are
extremely proud of our staff. It is one of the most experienced and
well prepared in the area. More than 70% of our certified staff hold
a master's degree or above. Our students are instructed by a staff
of teachers and administrators that hold leadership positions in regional
and state professional organizations. Approximately 68% of our
teachers are tenured and 64% of our building administrators have more than
six years in the district. Teacher turnover is low, approximately
11% for 95-96. Teachers fresh out of college are also hired each
year; our school district makes every effort to recruit the best teachers
available.
Our teachers are represented by
professional organizations. Many of our secretaries also
belong to a professional organization. Relationships with
these groups have been quite good and continue to be strong because
we all work together for the success of our students.
