Web Museum - Web Museum includes hundreds of images and Histories of famous artists and their work from various centuries.  Highlights of the museum’s site include a comprehensive look at French impressionism, and exhibit of medieval art, and a virtual tour of Paris.

Internet Public Library - This is a great site if you are looking for various online magazines and topics.  This is one of the largest online libraries in existence.

CHEMystery - Welcome to CHEMystery: An interactive Guide to Chemistry -- The Virtual Textbook.  Choose between many Chemistry topics to explorer through in this virtual world.

Electronic Zoo - The Electronic Zoo is a comprehensive reference to animal resources located on the Internet.  The Zoo’s massive collection is  nevertheless easy to navigate, with links grouped by both subject (animals, veterinary) and resource type (mailing lists, Gopher and Web sites).  Sponsored by NetVet, the Zoo is well-maintained site with a search facility, what’s new list, and continual updates.  This is a great place to visit and learn about animals without removing them from their natural habitat.

Perry-Castaneda Library Map Collection - If your looking for  maps of cities or countries around the world, you’ll want to check this impressive map server at the University of Texas at Austin.  Prepare yourself for some large graphic files that can be slow do download.

MTU Volcanoes Page - Find out about current and past volcanic activity through maps, research, historical information, and discussions.  This is a great place for students and teachers to start their investigation into volcanic activity.

Views of the Solar System - This site contains images and information about the Sun, planets, moons, asteroids, comets and meteoroids found within the solar system.  It contains over 220 pages of information, over 950 high-resolution images and animations, and over 880 megabytes of data.
