Matt Adams'
1994 Ford Explorer XLT
I bought this Explorer used as a more versatile version of my 1998 Ford F-150.  I loved my F-150 but I was hesitant to take it off-road because it was so nice.  Then I got caught up with some Explorer 4-wheelers and after seeing them off-road a few times my mind was made up.  I sold my truck and bought the Explorer.  Unfortanetly it came fairly stock, but that was taken care of soon enough.  Some even said it was the fastest complete build-up they'd seen in an Explorer - at one event the only modification was a GPS and by the next event everything was done.  Fortunately because I hung out with Explorer owners before making my purchase I already knew exactly what I wanted - from hearing about peoples good and bad experiences and making my decision from there. I've also had the good fortune of being able to help promote companies such as PIAA Professional Halogen systems and Mickey Thompson tires with my Explorer, and I hope to be able to work with more in the future.

So far I've taken advantage of the opportunity to go four-wheeling in some great locations, all over the state of Colorado and attending the Truckhaven Hills run in January.  In the upcoming months I hope to be able to travel even more, going to Kansas, Moab, Silver Lake Michigan, and possibly more!
