Townhalls/Keeps: This
is where everything starts, has in the previous warcrafts, we presume that the
villagers and/or peons will probably be created in this building. All resources
will also go to the Townhall, the resources probably will be wood and gold but
the only actual paying resource will be gold and wood will be used for
construction of range units and buildings probably.
Barracks: Barracks
are used to create the most basic military unit, the footman that is. The
barrack will probably be the most important structure after the Townhall. If
it's anything like the previous warcrafts, the barrack will create the main
attack force because the units that it creates will be made at a cheap cost and
made fast for a rush.
Lumber
mill: The lumber mill will be used to to
modify wood to produce weapons and equipment (maybe).
Docks: The
dock will no doubt be used to create war ships and transportation ships. But the
dock could also be used to bust up the players economy by gathering oil or even
just catching fish and other sea creatures.
Mines: The
mines will be used to well mine gold, the peasants and villagers will go
in the mine, the mine some gold with there pick axe and then return to there
Townhall or keep to deposit there goods and then do the same thing over and over
and over, well i think you get the point.
Neutral buildings
Neutral buildings
will be pre-placed structures with which all players can interact. Some examples
include Monster Encampments, Mana Fountains and Temples. These neutral sites
will have varied benefits or dangers for players, but most importantly, they are
not owned by any player and are discoverable as play progresses and the world is
explored.
