Targeted at 8th grade girls that come from first generation college bound families. Selection process takes place in January and both mother and daughter spend 12-14 evenings together at ASU experiencing university life. Program goal is to get girls interested in: attending higher education through self-esteem classes, establishing a mentoring system, workshops, identifying coursework needed to attend college, field trips and learning about grants, scholarships, and financial aide, etc.
