Mail Management Services
We provide complete office mail
services, including x-raying of all mail received, managing mail rooms, distributing
interoffice mail, pick-up and delivery of postal mail.
We offer:
- Twice a day, pick up and deliver postal and
interoffice mail to 600 mail stops at 13 DOT locations in the Washington, DC metropolitan
area.
- Complete mail security services, including
use of the latest explosive detection technology to x-ray all mail and packages prior to
delivery to DOT customers, and supporting centralized courier drop off locations in all
DOT headquarters buildings.
- Savings to DOT customers in postage costs
by presorting and metering all outgoing 1 and 2 ounce letters saving approximately 3 1/2
cents per letter.
- Specialized overnight delivery and
registered mail services.
- Pack large items prior to shipment and save
customers package delivery costs by obtaining volume discounts with alternate deliverers.
