CAP, Industry Canada's Community Access program works with rural Canadian communities to take advantage of new communication technologies. CAP's goal is to foster economic, social, and cultural growth in Canada. All CAP sites are community-based, with a variety of provincial, territorial, and national partnerships supporting these local initiatives. Also helping to guide the program are Industry Canada's regional CAP reps, CAP's Provincial/Territorial Review Committees, Special Provincial Agencies, and the CAP National Advisory Committee.  To learn more about the Community Access Program and how to apply, click here or the CAP logo at the top of the page.

This Community Access Program site is provided with funding by Industry Canada, with contributions from the Bamfield Community School Association, School District 70 (Alberni), North Island College, Bamfield Marine Station, School for Field Studies, Huu Ay Aht First Nations, Alberni-Clayoquot Community Skills Centre, and Bamfield resident volunteers.
