My HP calculator needs to be repaired. What is the process?
Your HP calculator comes with a full one year warranty, and the repair process is country-specific.
How much does it cost to repair this unit?
HP warrants the product against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of original purchase. During the warranty period, HP will repair or replace a product that proves to be defective. (Replacement may be made with a new or reconditioned product, or with a newer model of equal or better functionality.) This warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged by accident or misuse or as the result of service or modification by other than an authorized HP service center.
What is classified as customer damage? How much does it cost to repair?
Customer damage has occurred if a unit has been damaged by accident (dropped out of your coat pocket) or misuse (coffee spilt on the keyboard). Customer damage also occurs when a unit is opened by anyone other than an HP service center.
Is my HP calculator still in warranty?
If you do not have a dated sales receipt, the warranty is determined by the serial number of the unit.
Can I purchase a service agreement for my Hewlett-Packard calculator?
In the US, within your one-year warranty contact the HP Service Center (916-785-1200) for information on one-year service agreements. If you live outside the US please contact your local support service.
