TICO Bellows offer a fast, economical solution to the problems associated with exclusion of dust, dirt, and fluids from cylinder rods and screw jacks.

TICO Bellows not only protect expensive machinery, but also extend their working life, reducing down time and increasing productivity.

These economical protectors can be made quickly to suit your exact requirements. A wide range of standard tooling is held in stock to meet most combinations of inside and outside diameter. Other shapes of bellow can be supplied for a relatively small tool charge.

Temperature range: -60°C to +250°C

Used primarily as heavy-duty protectors in many different industries. Typical applications include the protection of screw-down gear on rolling mills and hydraulic rams on heavy presses, plus the fabrication of cooling air ducts on traction motors for diesel-electric locomotives.

Based on a wide range of elastomer-proofed fabrics, these bellows are of a totally vulcanised construction that provides a particularly rugged product. Various layers are preformed prior to the vulcanising process – this avoids the weakness inherent in bellows fabricated from separate pieces joined by stitching or other mechanical methods.

A vast range of materials are available to the Division for use in the manufacture of our range of high temperature expansion joints. Some of the materials utilised are unique to the TICO Bellows & Compensators Division and are not supplied by another other manufacturer across the globe, including TICO Hi-Performance Wrap.

As with all of our products, TICO high temperature expansion joints are totally asbestos free and have a rugged durable construction without excessive weight. Our choice of insulation materials provides an increased flex fatigue life over comparable expansion joint systems and there is no insulation loss due to plant shakedown or compaction.

TICO Speedwrap is a length form, wrap type expansion joint material. Its multi-layer composite construction incorporates integral thermal insulation, a primary sealing membrane and an outer sealing layer to give optimum performance.
