ABA
broadcasting planning seminar
The
1999 ABA Broadcasting Planning Seminar,
"2001 - A Digital Odyssey" will be held
at the Hyatt Hotel, Canberra on 8 and 9 November.
This
years seminar will have a distinctive
digital flavour focusing on future developments
and implementation issues. A highlight of the
seminar will be the opportunity provided to
professionals of government and non-government
bodies to discuss issues surrounding broadcasting
planning and innovations in broadcasting
technology.
"As
well as providing a much needed forum for the
exchange of meaningful ideas, information and new
technologies, the Broadcasting Planning Seminar
is sure to entertain and stimulate the minds of
all those who attend," said Professor David
Flint, ABA Chairman.
The
list of speakers at the seminar includes a range
of highly respected professionals from both
within the ABA and the broadcasting industry.
They include Mr Malcolm Long, Principal,
Communications Strategies and Management Pty Ltd,
Mr Justin Milne, Manager of OzEmail Internet and
Giles Tanner, General Manager ABA.
The
seminar program contains a range of papers,
focusing on both technical and policy issues and
will provide an open forum where delegates will
have the opportunity to exchange ideas and get
the latest updates on new technologies.
