Child Emergency Workshop
This three hour workshop focuses on basic first aid for infants and toddlers. Subjects include choking, rescue breathing, seizures, falls and head injuries, bleeding, poisons, burns, prevention tips and the emergency medical system (EMS).
Each participant receives a reference book, emergency telephone label and a certificate.
Those who should attend include parents, grandparents, baby sitters, day care workers, teachers and caregivers.
The Child Emergency Workshop is recognized and approved by the Worker's Compensation Board and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. For further information and to register, call Maternal Child Prenatal Services at (905) 813-3944.
