Swim-A-Thon

All clubs must submit the following 1999 Swim-A-Thon tax receipt information by June 30, 1999:

Travel Grants

This is a reminder that travel to and from a meet only is eligible for the Travel Grant. Accommodation is no longer eligible and therefore should not be submitted. New forms are available. If your club is still using the old forms, you may continue to use them, but leave the accommodation part blank.

Also, please remember that the deadline for submissions is 30 days after the meet. Late forms will be returned marked - Late, Ineligible.

1999-2000 Club Affiliation

This is a reminder to clubs that Club Affiliation information went out on April 1, 1999 to your club address on file with Swim Ontario.

The affiliation fee memo includes Annual Sanction fee, OSCA Membership Fee, Club Affiliation and GST. Please pay the total amount indicated.

Please be sure to complete all sections of the affiliation form.

Affiliation forms and fees must be received at the Swim Ontario office by July 30, 1999.

National Swim Week

National Swim Week will be held September 15 - 22, 1999. Watch for an official announcement from SNC. Start planning to take advantage of the publicity that will be generated nationally during that time.

Club Press Liaison Person

In preparation for National Swim Week, all clubs are asked to appoint a press liaison person who has access to e-mail and submit this to the Swim Ontario office as soon as possible (definitely prior to the end of this swim season). There is an information package enclosed in this mailing.
