FlexLM licensing is an option for licensing RC-Squared modules since February of 1999. Our cross platform products ResFrame and ResFrac require it. You must contact RC_Squared to obtain a license (mail to license@rc2.com ) but from our downloads page you can get the FlexLM licensing daemons required. You must have or obtain the rc2fd licensing daemon (click below) for RC-Squared modules to work. Most companies will already have the lmgrd licensing daemon but it is also available on our downloads page. The lmhostid utility may be useful for determining the hostid prior to sending a license request.
