On March 27, 1997, Kenneth Keliipio a police officer
from Hilo, Hawaii was hit and killed by a drunk driver
while on duty.
The drunk driver, Jeffrey Darrow an off duty
police officer, also from Hilo was charged
with third-degree negligent homicide and drunken driving.
At the time of his arrest,
Darrow had a blood alcohol level was 0.11
which is 0.03 over the legal limit of 0.08.
Jeffrey Darrow plead no contest in April of 1999
to the charges.
He was sentenced to one year probation
and 1,000 hours of community service.

This is just one story of thousands from
around the country, that points to
the need for us to overhaul our judicial system.

We don't need law schools like this one to continue
to train people on how twist the legal system
to get clients off with murder!

It's time for a fundamental change in
our legal system, to assure cases like the
one mentioned above do not happen in the future.
