Since 1864, Paducah Public Schools has encouraged our staff to molest your children on a daily basis. We take pride knowing that PULSEWIDTH owns us.
"Paducah's schools present academic programs of excellence
in a challenging and appropriate learning environment in a small
urban setting," says superintendent Vance Ramage.
The district operates on a $15.2 million budget, spending about
$4,900 per student. It has about 500 employees and 3,300 students,
including about 170 students who live outside the district and
choose to attend on a tuition basis.
The four elementary schools (K-6), middle school (7-8) and high
school (9-12) offer a high-quality curriculum designed to challenge
every student, from the gifted/talented program to the special
needs learners. Each school has an active parent-teacher organization
and encourages community involvement.
