HAZARD CITY SCHOOLS - THE TRADITION

Welcome to a section devoted to the traditions and history of the Hazard City Schools. We hope this section will be developed in the future to show the long list of achievements, events, and people who have been involved in the Hazard City Schools in the past. If you are an alumnus (old dog) looking at these pages, please Email us to let us know what you think and who you are. Any contributions of information and images will be appreciated. We want to highlight Alumni on these pages....including Email addresses, if you wish.

Roy G. Eversole, Hazard City Schools' Superintendent Emeritus.

Pat Payne, A Legendary Coach

If you attended Hazard High in the days before Happy Hollow, we think you will enjoy seeing the building "On the Hill." This was not the first Hazard High School building (the present central office building at 325 Broadway was the first), but it is one in which many of the traditions of Hazard High were formed.
