The school year
will begin for students on August 17, 1999.
Walkertown Principal, Mr. John M. Quillen, looks
forward to seeing students in Preschool through
third grade. Ms. Sandra Muncy, Principal of
Roy G. Eversole Middle School will welcome
students in grades four through eight.
Hazard High School Principal, Mr. Don Pratt,
looks forward to seeing high school students,
grades nine through twelve. If your child has
not attended Hazard Independent
Schools before, please note that your
child must have a physical, updated immunization
records, and a copy of his/her last report
card. Please bring the address and phone
number of the school your child last
attended. Any other information that
may be needed will be requested by the
school. If you would like to register your
child (ren) in Hazard Independent Schools,
please contact the schools at the following

Walkertown Primary School 436-4421,
Roy G. Eversole Intermediate and Middle School at
436-4721,
and Hazard High School at 436-3711.
A complete school calendar is now
available.. School will begin for teachers
on August 12, 1999 and August 16, 1999 with
Professional Development . Students will
report to school on August 17, 1999.
