Sometimes when people ask me why I do these defacements I am left without a proper answer. I guess it's the same for all web page crackers. They start off wanting to prove a point to themselves, then they have to show off, then they say it's to broadcast a message and finally they claim it's all out of curiosity. I guess the true answer is a mixture of all the above reasons plus the kick you get out of owning a server. Actually in some cases as in scripting exploits you can modify the web pages without actually owning the server. Well there is this one thing - "Web defacing is a FUN job" - right, Xessor? :)
